We often get the question from prospective MBA applicants who are still in their undergrad studies about the MBA program options allowing younger, early career achievers to get their advanced degree with minimal work experience. HBS 2+2 and Yale Silver Scholar are the two commonly known options for early career MBA; however, there are many other equally great programs offered by other top schools. We would like to present below a list of all such MBA programs for those who are in their final year of undergrad.
Harvard 2+2
Deferral Period: Min 2 years and Max 4 years
Eligibility: Current students, in their final year of undergrad or full-time masters programs. (Masters students need to have gone directly from undergraduate to graduate school without accepting any full time work position.)
Features: Class of 2022 acceptance rate was 8% and median GMAT score 740.

Stanford Deferred Enrollment
Deferral Period: 2 years or more
Eligibility: Current students, in their final year of undergrad or full-time masters programs. (Masters students need to have gone directly from undergraduate to graduate school without accepting any full time work position.)
Features/Notes:- Deferred admits are expected to be productively engaged in full-time work or full-time study during the deferral period.

Wharton Moelis Advance Access Program
(Open only to Penn University undergrad seniors)
Deferral Period: 2-4 years

Chicago Booth Scholars Program
Deferment Period: 2-4 Years
Eligibility: Current students, in their final year of undergrad or full-time masters programs. (Masters students need to have gone directly from undergraduate to graduate school without accepting any full time work position.)
Features/Notes:- Deferred admits are required to maintain their full-time employment status throughout their deferral period.
- Deferred admits are required to pay a series of non-refundable deposits in their first, second and third year of deferral.
- Deferred admits have choice to matriculate at full time or evening/weekend MBA programs.

Columbia Deferred Enrollment Program
Deferment Period: 2-5 Years

- Students enrolled in Ph.D. programs, law school, or medical school are not eligible.
Features/Notes:- Deferred admits will have access to conferences, events, and School-wide resources.
- Deferred admits have choice to matriculate at either January(16 month program) or August (20 month program) terms.

Duration: 3 Years
Eligibility: Current college seniors.
Features/Notes:- Unique among the deferred admission programs.
- No deferral. Scholars spend the first year completing the core curriculum at Yale, the second year in an extended internship, and third year taking elective coursework back at Yale before graduation.
- Extended internship placements include start-ups, government education departments, general management roles in large corporations, and investment firms.

Deferment Period: 1 year and 9 months minimum
Eligibility: Candidates in the pre-final or final year of undergrad or post-graduate education.
Features/Notes: Admits undergo weekend sessions spread over 6 months. They get guidance from experts. They interact with peers. All while completing work experience.

IESE Young Talent Path (YTP)
Deferment Period: 3-4 Years
Eligibility:- College seniors, first-year year professionals
- Upon interview selection, candidates attend an MBA Boot Camp
- After securing a pre-admission, candidates attend YTP weekend, get GMAT preparation assistance, complete a 3-4 year work experience and finally join the regular MBA class
