Would an AdCom look down on an application if you were to submit three recommendations instead of the required two? I'm second guessing the recommendation of my direct supervisor. He's not the best writer in the world and not the most energetic/enthusiastic person around and I was thinking of adding a third recommender to the application. I've already submitted my application (meaning I can't write the optional essay explaining why I'm submitting 3 recommendations), but the recommenders haven't yet submitted their recommendations.![]()
