Junior Manager(Operation ) Coke Oven
JSW Steel Ltd is India’s 2nd largest integrated steel plant with capacity of 10 million tonne per annum. The coke oven (unit 4) is largest recovery coke oven in India and has capacity of 1.95 mT > It has 4 batteries managed by 70 employees , 160 contract workers and 40 house keeping
• Operation Shift In charge , leading a team of 45 person that includes engineers ,operators , supervisors and house keeping
• Extensive team work and leadership , achieving a production of 107% of the business target for 8 month in the financial year 2012-13
• Designed , commissioned and executing the operation of Effluent Treatment Plant since July 2012, thereby reducing the consumption of process water 85%
• Ensured safety regulation inside and outside the plant and achieved one million man hour without any reportable injuries consquetively for seven months
• Instituted performance management and employee review process across the organization for the associate and contract employees
• Installed automation such as ground de-dusting , and super sucker to compliance with environmental regulation
• Successful coordination with external agencies to manage breakdowns of machinery to avoid production delay and to give periodic shutdown for preventive maintenance , thereby reducing the effective delay of 348 hrs in the year 2012-13
