Hey All! Hope that all is well. I have been studying very solidly for about 2.5 months now, the past month being at least 3-4 hours a day, 6 days a week. Back in February I scored a 460 (literally forgot everything math related) prior to studying, then about 3 weeks later score a 530 on Kaplan, then about a month later scored a 600 on Kaplan. And then I switched over to Knewton, and on the past 3 tests I have gotten a 640 (41 Quant, 36 Verbal), 580 and 580, both instances around the 36-38 Q range, and 32-35 Verbal range.
Looking at the actual reviews of the exams, I am not too worried about the Verbal because I don't think Knewton's scoring does me justice with it, as I explained in another post I literally got only 6 wrong on yesterday's CAT, with the first 17 being correct, and only one incorrect in 26 questions, and somehow still ended with a 35, in terms of question breakdown, I got 1 SC wrong, 2 reading comp wrong (both being CR related), and 3 CR wrong. Anyways, my clear weakness is my QUANT. I have one exam scheduled for June 22nd, and I have another follow up exam already scheduled for July 27th (because I know I will be able to improve even more by then).
I have purchased the Total Math by GMAT Hacks and plan on dedicating the majority of my team leading up to the June 22nd exam on QUANT. Anyways, does anyone have any specific tips for me?? I definitely believe that with consistency, I will be able to score high 30's, low 40's, and plan on focusing on CR only till the exam for verbal (given that was my clear weakness).
My goal here is 680.
Thanks!
