I remember reading a post on GMATclub, about two years ago, with a link to a study conducted by economists that discussed the hiring behavior of employers. It mentioned such findings as the fact that many resumes are read/skimmed through while on the way to meetings, or on the way to work while sitting on a bus. The study also explained that it employers want applicants to have extra-curriculars in something that is not directly related to what you are studying, but I cannot remember why. If anyone could please help me find this study I would be deeply grateful.
