Hi ,i don't know if its the right place to ask this question if not please guide me to the correct section.....so i am following this awesome community from quite some time but was never serious about getting MBA degree but after working all these years i feel so stuck with my current position and work profile i decided to change my job profile to something more challenging in finance/consulting or investment banking i am planning to take GMAT but still confused about whether to take this risk of quitting my job or not because in my country(i am from india) working in a bank is considered as most secured and pretty reputed profile but the sector is highly underpaid and growth rate/job satisfaction is not as i expected , As far as my profile goes i always been an average student have done my Engineering in computer science but really screwed my graduation percentage, i worked 1 year as a web developer and then switched to banking sector , where i am working as manager banking operations for a leading private sector bank from the last 4 years.I wanted to know whether my average academics hamper my chances to get into a good B school or my exp plus a good GMAT score ( what should i aim for? ) would be ok one more thing could you please suggest some schools by looking at my profile. Thanks in advance.
