Hey Everyone,
I am finally giving in to asking advice from everyone. I am trying to get 65th - 80th percentile on my quant section of the GMAT to get in to my choice school. I have now taken the GMAT 3 times with the following percentiles:
42%, 50%, 47%
My practice exams on Kaplan and GMAT PREP have been as follows for the past 2 months:
GMATPrep - 73%, 78%. 83%
Kaplan - 68%, 79%, 63%, 79%
All of them were new exams. You can see now my challenge as there is a HUGE gap between my practices and my actual performance. It's been 10 months now since I started and I am desperate to just get the score I need and move on. In the exam, I feel a little anxiety but nothing too crazy. Most recently, I did start to freak out a little as I realised I was 4 minutes behind schedule but that's the only reason I can think of.
How can I get my performance to match my practice? What do you think is causing such a huge gap?
Thanks for any advice.
