One basic grammatical question

The largest trade-book publisher in the US has announced the creation of a new digital imprint division, under which it will publish about 20 purely digital works to be sold online as either electronic books or downloadable copies that can be printed upon purchase.

This question was popping in my mind, so I thought to share with all you guys.It is somewhat related to the question I posted above.

we basically have three types of sentence structures(leaving semicolon one)
1.independent clause,dependent clause
2dependent clause,independent clause
3independent clause,(FANBOYS)independent clause

Question.
1. Can a we have pronoun in dependent clause,referring to noun in independent clause
2. if yes, then can this rule applied to 3rd structure also ?
3. And coming to question, can second clause be considered wrong because them doesnt have reference in this partucular clause ?

Lets end this with a question
Although beaten by everyone, Mike still considers himself very strong
Although he was beaten by everyone, Mike still considers himself very strong
Beaten by everyone, Mike still considers himself very strong

Any comments on how many of these are correct/wrong and why ?
