Profile Evaluation for PhD

Hi,

I am from India. I went through your review about someone in this blog and was impressed with the in depth reply.

I am planning to apply for a Doctoral Programme for Fall 2014-USA.
Brief Background:
Graduation: Bachelor of Commerce(Hons.) from SRCC(#1 grad college in India)-81%
Post Graduation: Master in Arts in Economics, Delhi School of Economics- 54%
Work Ex: 2 years with financial captives in analytics division with prime focus on marketing analytics.

GMAT: Will be writing in November

I am interested for PhD marketing-Consumer Behavior.
Reasons why I am really looking out for your help are:
a) My grades in Post Grad are comparatively less.
b) I am switching from Economics to marketing (exposure during work ex) purely on preference
c) I am looking out for a funded programme.

Do you think the profile sounds even comparable enough to the large applicants pool?
