I am doing my PT MBA at UF. Before the course started, we all did some team building exercise(TBE) and one of the exercise dint really turn out well for me. But its ok.. One person(I am calling him A instead of any names) in that group liked the way I handled the situation and he happened to select me as a group member for the class.
He also selected 2 other people(B & C) out of which B is from this TBE group. The person C is okay, she is cool.
Even though person B was not outright rude to me during the TBE, I get a hostile feeling from her and she has been rude after being selected into the same group. We are a group of 4.
That was to give a picture of my relation with this person.It has been a month since classes started. We don't have any group assignments yet. But for individual assignments, we email each other to ask for clarifications. So any time I emailed A and C would reply, B obviously would not bother to reply at all.
On day 1 she had also said that she wont be able to meet up for Group studies and likes to do her share of work alone. So I sent an email few days ago ONLY to A & C, asking if they would be interested to do group study? B was not interested in group study and wont reply to my emails anyway. Person C forwarded the email to B and asked if she wants to join. She replies "Oh thanks for including me in the thread.. I cannot join, but if you need any help ask me".
So I am trying to understand, Did I do something wrong here?
Ultimate question is, how can I handle her attitude and hostility towards me?
Bottom line, I hate to let this bother my head with the list of things on my plate(PT MBA, FT JOB & a 2 year old). Any advise is appreciated. PLEASE
