Aaaaaaand part time at McComb.
I'm in a bit of a strange situation -- I'm currently working for a multinational oil company in a fairly high-impact engineering position (close to production). My reviews have all been excellent (end of year rankings/reviews are great). The pay is fantastic, and I believe I have good potential to move to high level leadership provided I stay with the company long term. My quandary is: advancement here is a bit slower than I'd like, and I think a few years in consulting would be beneficial for me from a personal development standpoint. I'd eventually want to end up back in a multinational energy company in a leadership position.
With that being said, outside of a few top schools, it wouldn't make sense for me to give up 2 yrs of pay instead of going to a part-time program.
With that being said!
Male, will be 25-26 when matriculating
3 - 4 yrs experience in O&G as an engineer
Attended a public UG (Berkeley/Michigan/UVa) for engineering on a full ride scholarship, graduated summa cum laude, 3.8+ GPA
GMAT is TBD, first practice test last night was a 720, so I expect this to be a bit higher on the real deal
Extracurriculars will probably be a bit weak, just a few hobbies, nothing special here
