I am thinking about doing the PhD program in Management at Nova School of Business and Econ. in Lisbon (top1 BS in portugal).
Through their CEMS and MBA network they have agreements with several top schools like LSE, HEC Paris, UCLA Anderson and MIT Sloan.
It is probably possible to stay 6-12 months during the PhD program at a foreign school and take courses.
My question is, how much is a stay at a top school like those i listed appreciated by companies and MBA admission offices?
The PhD degree will only be awarded by NOVA and not jointly, so it is merely a normal exchange. Does it still help to have a big BS name in your CV?
