Inquiry about my case and background check

Hey guys,

I'm applying for US MBA program in the coming year. But I have a problem. Will the admission committee consider the context below as an automatic ding? Are there any methods for me to mitigate this influence?

I was an employee of a fortune 500 bank in Singapore. One of my colleagues who worked in other country came to Singapore to participate the training, and he wanted to travel to Thailand during the weekend. He felt that leaving the hotel room vacant in the weekend is a waste, and many other colleagues also asked others to live in the hotel room when they are traveling outside Singapore. He asked me to help him post the subletting message on a local BBS. At that time, we both didn't realize that it was unethical and misconduct. I also wouldn't get any amount of money from the subletting. The hotel found the message on the internet and reported to our bank. After the bank's call, we realized that we couldn't do that and deleted the message. But the bank still fired both of us because of this occasion; I was shocked by the decision. After a week's depression during the gardening leave, I know that I have to face the reality and move on, so I called my previous client to ask whether they would like to hire me. They said yes, so I went to that company, and there's no career gap on my CV.

I asked my previous supervisor to write a recommendation letter, and he was quite satisfied with my performance when I was a management trainee in China, he agreed to write a positive recommendation for me, and he was also an MBA from LBS. Does he need to mention this occasion or highlight my ethical standard which he thought is always high? Is there anything else he writes can help?

I know that the business school has a very high standard of ethics. Will this occasion let the business school have a doubt on my ethics? In addition, the business school cares about the employment rate when students graduate. Will the business school feel that I can't find a good job after graduation? Or will the school feel that I will have potential to succeed in the future because I ever failed?

Moreover, how should I write in the reason of leaving in the application form? Can I just write "termination of employment"? The HR system shows the reason of termination is "Disciplinary - misconduct". How will the background check company look into this? What if I don't mention it in my application?

Thank you!
