So I read on another forum that you have 4 minutes to get through the instructions on the GMAT. My question: Is this amount of item alloted for each section or is this only before the Quant & Verbal sections respectively?
I am trying to determine what would be the best time to put in notes or prepare my scratch pad before the actual timer starts for the section.
Basically is the structure like this:
(4 min for AWA instructions)
AWA Section - 1 Topic (30 Minutes to complete)
(4 min for IR instructions)
IR Section - 12 Questions (30 Minutes to complete)
(4 min for Quant instructions)
Quant Section - 37 Questions (75 Minutes to complete)
(4 min for Verbal instructions)
Verbal Section - 41 Questions (75 Minutes to complete)
Please respond if you've taken the exam and know this for sure. Also, is there a timer that specifies how much time you left to complete the instructions?
