Wondering if I have any chance to get into NYU, Columbia, and MIT.
-Female (white); looking to concentrate in finance and possibly strategy
-710 GMAT, 48Q, 40V, on first try (although this was very disappointing to me as I had been scoring significantly higher on verbal on the practice tests)
-CPA straight out of college (passed all parts on the first try in 3 months; 6 months after undergrad graduation)
-2.5 years big 4 accounting experience, 6 months as a senior analyst in finance at a large media company
-3.2 gpa from top 25 undergraduate business school, top 50 ranked private university overall
-skipped a grade (can't I throw that in there somewhere?!)
-Volunteer experience: not a ton, but in 2012 I taught 5th graders in a low-income public school on Wednesdays for an hour 6 consecutive weeks
Are these schools a huge stretch? Should I re-take the GMAT?![]()
