Recommendation letters

Hello,

I'm really interested in applying to UT Austin for the MBA program next fall and had a question regarding recommendation letters. I switched my job 4 months ago and do not want anyone in my current company to know I am considering an MBA for next fall. So I have a few questions regarding the same:

1. Would it be okay if both my recommendations are from my previous employer?
2. One of the persons I worked with the most from my previous employer quit sometime last year. Is a recommendation from that person recognized? especially since both us do not work at the same company anymore.
3. My immediate director in my new place just resigned (worked with him for 3 months) so would it be okay to get a recommendation letter from him given that he doesn't work in my current work place anymore.
4. I'm also a part of speech club and have been President and held other VP roles. Would a recommendation from this club weigh more or less than a recommendation from an employer? Not in terms of content, but in terms of how it is recognized.

I know this may seem like too many questions, but I just wanted to make sure that I'm going about it the right way instead of sending recommendations that may be rejected because I/the people do not work there anymore. This will also enable me to narrow down the list of who I can ask for recommendation letters.

Thank you.
