Hey all,
I'm just trying to get a feel for how wide of a net I should cast for applying for MBA program. I obviously want to shoot for the top, but I think I should temper my expectations due to the competitive nature of the application process.
Profile:
740 (50Q/41V)
3.9 GPA from Top 25 Undergrad (UMich/UCLA/UNC)
2 Years as analyst IB at top bank (GS/MS/JPM)
Strong Collegiate Extracirriculars
No amazing story or life events
Bland Letters of Rec
Interested in Finance and Investment Management mainly
I'm wondering if I'm competitive for Top 7 B-Schools, or honestly whether it would be in my best interest to gain more work experience (I personally would prefer to go to MBA to get on partner track at big PE/AM firms). Where should I look to apply?
Thanks.
