Hi all,
I need advice on the best strategy to follow as I have less than 2 weeks left before my exam day.
Mid-June I did the first Gmat prep test and got 650 (Q 41, V 39). I felt my math skills were lacking some confidence on fundamentals and then bought MGMAT Foundations of GMAT Math (before that I was only using OG 13). Even though it was a bit like doing push-ups before the proverbial boxing match, I was a bit disappointed by the book. It does present all the basic theory in a very accessible way but it doesn't necessarily invite to play with the concepts in the way gmat questions do.
Anyway, since then I did three MGMAT CATs and got the following results:
- 620 (Q 40, V 35)
- 640 (Q 40, V 37)
- 640 (Q 41, V 36)
I am not particularly worried (or should I be?) about scoring lower than the first Gmat prep test, as I read somewhere on this forum that is was somehow usual.
My question now is: how can I improve this in the timeframe I have (less than two weeks), knowing that I work during the week?
My initial plan was to insert one or two MGMAT CAT exams this week and reviewing my errors and getting the second Gmat prep test done next weekend a few days before the big day. But I feel I'm capping at these current scores and I'm wondering if someone has an advice on how to take the best advantage of the time I have left.
Thanks in advance for any comments!
