Hi,
When you fill in the mba.com profile, you are required to enter your past University details. What you select will appear on the GMAT score as "self-submitted" details.
That's fine, except that my past university is not on the GMAT list of options, and I am not allowed to leave the field blank.
My GMAT score (now sent to admissions) claims that I went to one university, while my transcript shows something completely different. This feels discrediting. I have informed mba.com of the error they have forced upon me, but they don't respond.
I'm hoping admissions teams completely ignore what GMAT says. Do B-schools care about what is said on the GMAT electronic record that is sent to them?
My university was established in the the 19th Century, long before GMAT existed, and remains a prominent research institutions in its domain. I know what else to say.
