Professional experience -
1) 3.5 years of experience with Deloitte AERS in the role of senior consultant (audit and assurance)
Major Responsibilities-
a) Conducted comprehensive audits for US Based listed/non-listed companies in Consumer and Retail Sectors.
b) Performed risk assessments for FSLI's using data analytics and visualizations, along with planning and conducting substantive testing of key areas like Cash, AR &AP, PP&E, c) Debt, Revenue & COGS, Operating Expenses etc. Also, conducted financial statement analysis and quarterly reviews.
d) Played a pivotal role in audit planning, evaluating design, implementation, and operating effectiveness of internal controls systems and procedures.
e) Led a team of four to five professionals on audit engagements providing coaching and mentoring. Acted as a primary reviewer of the staff work, and mediated between staff and the management.
Learnings- Developed an understanding of the audit approach, methodology and tools and demonstrated working knowledge of auditing and ensured that documentation is in compliance with quality standards as per US GAAP, PCAOB and AICPA.
