I graduated from MIT Sloan in 2020. I benefitted immensely from this community, and so sharing some advice to pay it forward. During my MBA program, I mainly recruited for consulting and product management. I interned at BCG in NY and got a return offer, but later recruited again for PM and ended with a job at Amazon. I since moved up into another consumer fintech company.
I learned a lot of things, especially about how job market in the US works and business school environment. If I have to do my MBA again, I would do things a bit differently.I wrote some advice for current and incoming MBA students on how to make best use of their time if they are looking to transition into product management.
