Demographic: Female, Chinese, 29. (18 years in China and 11 years in the US)
Education: BBA Finance and Marketing (Double major); GPA: 3.2/4 from a state school (ranks around 70ish)
Ms in Accounting; GPA 3.4/4 from a private school (ranks around 50ish)
GMAT: haven't taken yet but hoping to get an idea on what score I should be getting for a good chance of entering into the B-schools I want to apply to.
Fulltime work Experience: 5 Years
2 years - audit/ compliance in a top investment bank as a consultant
3 years - audit in one of the big four public accounting firms (top 1% performance)
- Had 3 internships prior to fulltime work experience (almost one year in total)
Extracurricular Activites:
- created interview package of an Asian artist and the interview was presented along with her artwork in a European national museum
- participated volunteering events at work and also coordinated firm-wide events
- was VP of Finance in a student club of my undergrad school
- Peer advisors for international students in my grad school
Post MBA Goals: Wanted to break into front offices of investment banks, private equity or venture capital firms
Target Schools: Wharton, Columbia, NYU Stern, Duke Fuqua, Yale SOM (open to more suggestions)
