Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone is doing great.
I am writing this post to get some advice.
I am a MIF aspirant and recently gave the GMAT and managed to score 700(48Q/38V). Before the exam, the 5 schools I selected to send my score were all top of the league, namely - EDHEC, ESSEC, HEC Paris, Imperial & ST. Gallen. I want to know where I am eligible for the schools and what sort of chances do I have to get into them.
About my profile - I am 22 yrs old, Indian, have done graduation in business. I am also a CFA aspirant, and I have cleared Level 1&2(securing 90th+ percentile in both of them) and also FRM Part 1. I have a low college score, around 60% (which would translate to 2.3 GPA, I suppose.) Regarding work experience, I worked at EY for 7 months (full time) in the assurance department and I have done 2 finance internships (neither of them are IB internships).
Based on the above credentials, I want to know if I stand a chance to get into the mentioned schools and if not, would a better GMAT score help.
I have been having a lot of dilemmas, whether I should retake the GMAT and if a better GMAT score would be able to compensate for my low college score in a better way.
I would be really thankful if any of the experts could help me here.
Regards,
Kanish
