So basically, I took the GMAT and got a 660, which obviously isn't a great score. Before I started studying, I took a GMAT cold and scored around 550 without studying. My GMAT score only went up because I studied the Manhattan GMAT Guide and OG 12, which seemed to be the consensus tools on here for improving one's score. However, after studying both of them, I still couldn't break 700 and I'm starting to wonder if maybe I'm just not smart enough to get into the 700s. The MBA schools I am aiming for will likely demand at least a 700 and I'm aiming for 720, but I'm just really frustrated because it seems that either people naturally score around what I did without studying or were able to get into the 700s after studying the MGMAT, which I didn't end up doing either.
Has anyone scored in the range I did after their first test and still managed to break 720+? I'm extremely disappointed with myself at this point and don't really know what to do, particularly with regards to my verbal score (RC is fine, the others are pulling me down badly though).
