I took the GMAT this weekend ended up with a 700 (Q48, V38, IR6). I'm happy that I crossed the line into the 700s, but I was aiming for a 720/730. This was my third attempt at the exam; I previously got a 610 (cancelled score; Q34, V40, IR7) and a 690 (Q48, V36, IR6). I want to retake but Im wondering whether 2 or 3 weeks is enough time to get my verbal score to V41?
Also, is achieving 720/730 even going to make a difference in my admissions chances, given that I already have a 700? I am a female engineer with African citizenship working in manufacturing for 5.5 yrs (at matriculation in Fall 2020) in project management role. My target schools are Harvard, Wharton, Booth, Columbia, Haas, Tuck, Kellogg, LBS. I am planning to apply to R2 and retaking the exam in 3 weeks will leave me with roughly 8 weeks to complete ~12 applications.
