Background/Work Experience: I am a female who works as a consultant at an analytics firm. The company is a leader in the Big Data analytics space, using analytics and quantitative tactics to solve business problems for Fortune 500 companies. I was promoted at the 2 year mark from the entry level Business Analyst position to the Associate position. I will have 3 years work experience upon entering MBA.
Undergrad: Graduated with a 3.8 from an Ivy with a major in Business Mgmt.
GMAT: I received a 710, but only got a 46 (71%) in quant. I have good grades in my math courses in undergrad, but just am not a good test taker.
I am aiming for T5 schools, particularly Harvard. Should I retake the test? I don't want this low quant to stand in my way. I have good volunteer and leadership experience, and should be able to craft a story for the applications. I plan to apply early decision this year, for matriculation Fall 2014.
Thanks in advance for your help
