Query related to Parellelism

Hi all

Lately while practicing questions from OG, I observed that in some question related to parallelism the connector "And" is sometimes used as ", and" and sometimes it is used simply as "And". This has created confusion in my mind over the use of connector "And" if anyone can clarify this doubt, please comment.
